Tim Ebner is a food and travel writer. He has been featured in The Washington Post,  Eater, Thrillist, Edible DC, and appeared on-air on the PBS television show “If You Lived Here.” He lives in Washington, DC and most recently traveled to Mexico City, Tel Aviv, Milos, and Bali.

Tim is a skilled editor and writer, and he has several years of experience in content strategy, issues management, and communications.

He was honored with an IACP Food Writing Award for his coverage in Edible DC. He won a Food Writing Award from the Society for Features Journalism for the history of Crystal Hot Sauce published by Eater. And he was voted an “Eddy Award” winner for his cocktail coverage.

Previously, he was a content editor and editorial project manager at Atlantic Media, the publisher of The Atlantic. He started his journalism career at Education Week, working on digital products, including the development of a new e-books series.

Tim graduated with a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park, and he received a bachelor’s from Fordham University in The Bronx.
