Tim Ebner is a contributing writer for The Washington Post, Washington City Paper, Eater, Thrillist, Edible, DC Refined, and Capitol File Magazine. He lives in Washington, DC and works full-time as a senior editor for Associations Now.
Tim is a skilled editor and writer, and he has several years of experience in content strategy and issues management/crisis communications.
In 2018, he won a “Best Food Feature” award from the Society for Features Journalism. And in 2016, he won an “Eddy Award” for his cocktail column at Edible DC.
Previously, he was a content editor and editorial project manager at Atlantic Media, the publisher of The Atlantic. He started his journalism career at Education Week, working on digital products, including the development of a new e-books series.
Tim graduated with a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park, and he received a bachelor’s from Fordham University in The Bronx.
